This was beautiful. It's a work of art; right there with a Vermeer or a Monet. It has a striking imagery; every word roles of the tongue and adds a part to this unique piece that is necessary for its greatness. Every line, every word, it's all necessary to create the imagery and beauty that it is.
I also enjoyed the story and its subject matter. I like that it wasn't a romance. Perhaps after my recent stints like reading Raise the Red Lantern and delve into arthouse cinema, I've come to appreciate tone and character more than I have plot. This is certainly, at least in my eyes, a tone piece. The thing I see the most here is tone, description. There is a plot, but not much and it just serves as a purpose to the words. There is character; Kagome's kindness and Sesshomaru's wryness. It is a beautiful piece, gorgeous in its words and use.
Thank you for sharing,

This was such an intense drabble. I mean, your detail was absoutely fantastic. It was so vivid and actually brought tears to my eyes at one point because of all the raw emotion. I absolutely love the story line you added to each prompt. I mean...who could have honestly thought that someone could actually create such a lovely story with so little words and completely suck me in. Ugh, you are amazing!
Great job!!!
Wow, I missed a lot last night and I'm so glad you posted it in its entirety. Poingnant and angsty. Very good use of the prompts!
O.O Whaaaaat???? (Pardon my language, but...) Oh hell NO!!!!! How dare you end this chapter in such a cliffhanger???? You evil evil little person!!!. Any way, this sounds very interesting, and I would love to hear more from it, please update soon??....please!!!?
Interesting title. I wish Sesshomaru would have stuck around to comfort her though.
Oh, such a depressing ending. No one wins in this one. But it was beautiful. Thank you.
